Tveir danskir tónleikajournalistar, Peter Krogholm og Thomas Brunstrøm, hava síðani á sumri 2008 skrivað um norðurlendskan tónleik á heimasíðuni All Scandinavian, har teir nú velja bestu fløgu í undanfarna ári.
Fremsta uppskot av tjúgu á øllum tí norðurlendska tónleikamarknaðinum er føroyska fløgan Vendetta (Tutl) hjá 200, sum er tikin upp í Studio Bloch eina arbeiðsviku í januar í 2012. Tá tók eg hesar myndir.
Um útgávuna Vendetta sigur danski tónleikajournalisturin Peter Krogholm soleiðis á heimasíðuni All Scandinavian, sum hevur undirheitið Dedicated to bring Scandinavian music to you:
When I first featured 200 in a SpaceScan back in 2009, they described their music as “‘In the Ghetto’ meets Motörhead as played by the Sex Pistols” with the lyrical side of things concerned with satirical punches to the face of Faroese politics, homophobia, Christian fundamentalism and Faroese independence from the Danish Empire (“empire” was a big word then and it still is, to be perfectly honest). I still don’t understand Faroese, but I was told that ‘Við Love Skuldu Vit Land Byggja’ is a heartfelt Fuck You! to the political right sympathies dominating public debate these days, so nothing new there I guess, and even though time inevitably do change people (and therefore bands) I don’t think I offend anybody by saying that their own and old description still is quite fitting with ‘Vendetta’and ‘Makka Rætt’ two prime examples. Recommended tracks: Makka Rætt – Við Love Skuldu Vit Land Byggja – Brúka Tína Makt – Til Lukku – Vendetta.
